Presentations and panel discussions attract leading retailers from around the world
Frankfurt am Main, June 2026 – For the fourth consecutive year, the International Retail Forum hosted by retailsolutions, a global SAP consulting company specializing in retail, once again brought together industry experts and representatives from across the globe in Frankfurt am Main. On June 24 and 25, 2026, 115 participants attended the hands-on industry event featuring more than 40 expert presentations and discussion sessions, focusing on the key trends shaping the retail sector: future store concepts, transformation and processes, data and AI, omnichannel and core merchandising, as well as security, architecture and cloud applications.
“Practical insights and real-world examples from renowned retailers such as adidas, Aramark, Coop, Ernsting’s family, Harrods, Schwarz Digits and toom, combined with the opportunity to exchange ideas with industry peers, were once again at the heart of the event. Participants openly shared their experiences with projects, including both challenges and successes. These insights provide valuable support for their own transformation, AI and cloud initiatives,” says Michael Niestroy, Managing Partner at retailsolutions.
A particular highlight of this year’s event was the two panel discussions. The first focused on digital transformation and featured Guido Hoepfner from REWE digital, Marco Tietze from PwC and Jörg Frisch from retailsolutions. The second addressed the topic of cybersecurity, bringing together Mark Emery from Harrods and Michael Niestroy from retailsolutions for an in-depth exchange of perspectives.
The forum once again provided numerous opportunities for networking and knowledge sharing, allowing participants to explore and expand on the ideas, solutions and best practices presented by industry experts.
“Feedback from participants was again overwhelmingly positive. The International Retail Forum has established itself as a valuable platform for exchange and collaboration. It brings together companies, industry experts and innovation leaders, creating opportunities for new developments and partnerships,” Niestroy concludes.
